Southern North Dakota, as captured by my late Grandma Carol; truthfully, the hilliest part of the state.
Andrea (she/her/they/them) started creating images and playing with visual composition when they were small; she decided to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design at Appalachian State University, but graduated in 2017 with a partial education and a diploma, as is so. Since then, Andrea has been enriching their skills further with analog and conceptual pursuits played out in inspired, sometimes fantastical, visual planes. There's a heavy love of typography, texture, bold colors, strong lines, and, of course, natural things in all of her work.
Andrea is inspired by nature, humans, and culture, among everything else in this world. They're interested in many things, but especially language, history, agroecology, mythology, and of course, music. She's currently reading the Wheel of Time series, is excited for the second season of Dorohedoro, and is learning how to identify trees in their local environment. She's probably eaten a very good sandwich made by their partner recently, too.
Andrea is currently based in Durham, NC.
